New energy labels

Have you ordered a device with an A+ label and has it been delivered with a C label? Don't worry, the power consumption is the same, only the letter has changed.

Since 1 March 2021, electrical appliances have been provided with a new energy label. Because appliances are being developed more economically, pluses have increasingly been added over time. These pluses caused a lot of uncertainty among consumers. This is why the EU has decided to renew the labels. The A+++ labels will disappear and the A to G labels will replace them. Initially, this only applies to refrigerators, freezers and dishwashers. Other devices such as ovens will follow later. For the time being, these will still keep the labels with pluses.

In addition to the changed energy efficiency class, the new label features a QR code, which provides access to more information about the respective model. You will also find more information about the model on the label itself using icons. You can think of water consumption, volume (L) and noise level (in dB).
